Red Rock 4-5
In-Person Tuesday 04/12/2022 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Business (Behavioral), Interpersonal (Behavioral), People (Technical), Workplace (Technical)
Workplace Application:
Attendees will understand why there is no actual talent shortage but instead a talent relocation.

According to a Korn Ferry survey (https://www.kornferry.com/about-us/press/no-end-in-sight), talent shortages are expected to worsen in 2022. Business leaders are facing a paradox — employees are leaving their jobs in record numbers, yet organizations are struggling to find people to fill their open roles. The answer is simple: There is no talent shortage, but talent relocation. Over the last two years, people have reevaluated their priorities and reassessed their relationship with their jobs. Organizations need to understand this shift and adapt to this new employee mindset. Companies are navigating a different scenario — the talent has transformed, and employers must understand this in order to leverage these changes. Companies that adapt faster to this new paradigm will have an advantage when attracting and retaining talent.

Learning Objectives:

  • Hear about the changes in the employee mindset — newfound expectations and priorities.
  • Discover the strategies companies are deploying to attract talent.
  • Take advantage of international talent pools for companies that find it hard to source candidates locally.
