Attendees will learn to make organizational culture their primary focus for employee engagement, retention and performance to skyrocket.

Battle Ready is a modern-day Cinderella story that details how a Navy P-8 squadron went from terrible to top-notch in one year. Skipper Davis' account of the transformation is amazingly authentic, showcasing that success is attainable amidst numerous leadership failures and strong employee resistance. Leaders will get a firsthand experience of what was effective in changing the culture at VP-47, and they will learn from the mistakes Skipper Davis made along the way. The Sailors at VP-47 took command of their destiny, and their collective efforts ranked VP-47 as  No. 1 in morale, leadership and  communications. This incredible reversal seems unbelievable. How did the Sailors at VP-47 manage to make such a dramatic change? Cultivating culture through building trust, encouraging teamwork, communicating purpose and handing over ownership were all essential elements of VP-47's rise to the top.
