Learn the basics of complex financial benefits, what value they have and how to effectively communicate that value.

Recruiting and retaining top-talent employees is tough! Many companies now offer complex financial benefits, such as stock options, restricted stock units, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and phantom equity to entice the best of the best. Unfortunately, most prospective employees do not understand these complicated benefits. If they don't understand them, then they see no value! This session will break down common financial benefits and how, by explaining their true value, you can sell them to top talent or use them to retain key employees.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain a basic understanding of complex financial benefits like stock options, restricted stock units, pension plans and nonqualified deferred compensation plans.
  • Understand the value these benefits can actually add to an individual's financial picture.
  • Learn how to sell these benefits to a potential new employee.
  • Learn how to emphasize these benefits to existing key employees.
