Workplace Application:
Learn skills to remove interpersonal barriers, talk candidly about tough issues, and create an environment that fosters trust and transparency.

The health of relationships, teams and organizations can be measured by the amount of time it takes to discuss a problem after identifying it. Exclusionary workplaces are no exception. To turn your workplace from partisan and cliquey to inclusive and collaborative, you must foster dialogue and accountability. Attend this session to discover the crucial connection between dialogue and accountability, and how fostering the two can lead to a culture of inclusion. In this session, you will:

  • Identify common conversational failures that are deleterious to organizational health.
  • Discover the relationship between dialogue and accountability.
  • Learn skills to speak candidly and respectfully when inclined to silence or violence.
  • Explore how to create an environment that advertises, cues, ritualizes and normalizes accountability, resulting in a culture of inclusion.
