Effective communication is about more than disseminating information. It’s about crafting messages with purpose, creating alignment in all directions, and getting others—both inside and outside your organization—to buy into a shared vision. This task is increasingly difficult in an age where technology and social media promulgate information but constrain creative brainstorming and the formation of deep connections. The best leaders know that relationships aren’t built by websites and soundbites.This session will help you learn how to:
- Discover your communication style and adapt it to different situations.
- Identify communication roadblocks and navigate them.
- Use positive perception through visual, vocal and verbal cues.
- Identify strategies for communicating up, down and across all levels of your organization.
- Enhance your listening skills to ensure that you are communicating effectively.
