Acquire the tools needed to navigate diversity challenges—and opportunities—brought on by the new administration. 

This session will provide you with an examination of the diversity and inclusion issues that have been impacted by the new administration in 2017. You will explore the legal framework for some of the challenges impacting HR, as well as key developments and issues that you are now facing in the current political environment. Topics will include:

  • New EEO trends that you should anticipate.
  • Balancing the multiple perspectives that are being expressed in the workplace
  • Managing employee free speech rights and an employer’s ability to require employees to comply with expectations regarding civility in the workplace and formal company policies (including those relating to the use of social media) both within and outside the workplace.
  • Guidelines for safeguarding your organization’s ongoing efforts in the diversity space.
