Empowering workplace leaders to advocate on Capitol Hill and on the job.
Advocacy@Work is an engaging “roll-up your sleeves” experience for workplace leaders looking to level-up their communications skills and become powerful advocates for both themselves and their organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
You will hear directly from and interact with leading experts and Capitol Hill veterans who will share their “on the ground” advocacy strategies, success stories, and unique insights—equipping you with the tools and resources you need to advocate effectively. Leave with the skills you need to confidently advocate for yourself and your organization, all while elevating the voice of HR in the corridors of power. Get an “insider look” into pressing policy issues and strategies from those who are “in the know.”
You will receive timely advocacy training in persuasive communications, giving you the tools you need to become an even stronger workplace leader and to advance your career. Put those new skills into action during Capitol Hill Advocacy Day when you will meet in-person or virtually with Members of Congress and their staffs.
You will build strategic relationships with policymakers and connect with fellow workplace leaders from across the country. Grow your professional and personal network so you can advance your career in HR and positively impact the lives and work of over 115 million people in the workforce.
