In recent years, talent acquisition has changed its course. For recruiters to be up to the challenge of searching for and locating top talent, it is important that they keep up on trends. First and foremost, it is a candidate's market right now. Unemployment is low. According to McKinsey's 2015 Global Growth Model study, there were three times as many workers as retirees from 2005 to 2015, and by 2025 the ratio will be 1-1. For today's generation of job seekers, mobile devices are a part of conducting a job search. We need to find information easily, on any screen that fits in a purse or pocket. A short, compelling and engaging job video, versus a long text job description, makes it easier for a candidate to understand and retain information about a position.
