Workplace Application:
Get an overview of health care reform initiatives under a Trump administration and the 115th Congress and how these changes will impact employers and their benefits offerings to employees.

Since the enactment of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, employers have been changing or implementing new health care design strategies to comply with the law. President Donald Trump and the 115th Congress have vowed to repeal and replace the ACA, creating a lot of anxiety in the employer community as to what provisions will change and when. This session will:

  • Review the Trump administration’s and Congress’ health care reform initiatives and the implications for employer-sponsored benefits.
  • Discuss repeal efforts and provide an overview of the ACA replacement plan.
  • Discuss strategies that you can implement to comply with new and/or proposed changes to the ACA and other health care-related regulations.
