Understand how the political trends driving more scrutiny and restrictions on the movement of talent across the globe might impact your business operations.

Concerns about immigration have been front and center in elections around the globe. As politicians seek to address these concerns, there are big stakes for employers. In the United States, this could impact your ability to hire or retain workers on H-1B and L visas, DACA recipients, and others. Similar restrictions are possible in the U.K., Switzerland and elsewhere. Moreover, multiple movements are afoot to ensure that all foreign labor is recruited in a fair and ethical manner. This session will bring together experienced immigration experts for a candid discussion on what’s at stake—and how employers are responding. In this session, you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the major developments in immigration policy around the globe.
  • Learn about efforts by governments and international organizations in developing and implementing policies regarding labor recruitment.
  • Learn about major policy changes that could be coming regarding access to talent in various immigration classifications in the United States.
