Workplace Application:
You will learn how employers are designing their health care plans, with a specific emphasis on the creation and use of private health exchanges.

Employer-sponsored health care plans continue to navigate through a sea of rising costs and complex federal reform. In recognition of this new environment, some employers are accelerating their strategies while others are exploring new alternatives, including private health exchanges. Identify environmental factors that are driving change in benefits strategies, and review the initial findings of the Private Exchange Evaluation Collaborative (PEEC), an independent initiative that provides employers with objective insights on private exchange strategies and comparative purchasing decisions.
