Take advantage of this rare opportunity to visit the offices of your senators and representatives on Capitol Hill. SHRM and the Council for Global Immigration bring you a unique chance to let your elected officials know, in person, how pending workplace legislation affects you as an HR professional. In so doing, you join forces with other SHRM and Council advocates—many of whom have heralded the tremendous Capitol Hill visit as the highlight of their conference experience. 

The appointments are scheduled by SHRM and the Council in advance, a briefing is held to familiarize you with current legislative issues and a special boot camp is scheduled Sunday afternoon to help you practice what to say during the visit.
