Case Competition Waitlist Policy

There are 30 Case Competition slots available at each of the three Case Competition events (Central, West and East). Teams are added to the competition roster in the order in which their registrations are received. If more than 30 teams register for one of the events, additional teams will have the opportunity to be added to a waitlist. The following rules apply:

• Teams are required to pay the $25 registration fee to hold their team’s position on the waitlist. A refund will be provided should a team not be able to compete.
• A waitlisted team will be added to the competition lineup only if a registered team drops out of the competition 21 days or more prior to the event date. This allows the waitlisted team to fully participate in both the written and onsite portions of the competition.
• In the event that a team slot becomes available, the team captain of the waitlisted team will be notified, based on the order in which the team registered.
• Waitlisted teams will NOT be allowed to compete in place of a registered team that is unable to attend the onsite event.
